Day 2:
This morning started out with two “bonuses” in that Bill’s nephew Donny was able to join us for breakfast and Eileen found a flock of Quakers (just like Reepi) right outside the hotel! The journey to the QM2 turned out to be a bit long, not because of the distance to the port, but because of the processing time in order to board. We survived and were quite impressed with the décor and amenities aboard. It took awhile to find a place to stow everything we brought aboard and get ready for the evening entertainment and dinner – but we made it! Besides starting our exploration of the ship after dinner, Ed and Bill worked out the internet connection process so we can blog and email. Wednesday is a cruising day for us to relax, explore the ship some more and then have our first formal dinner and ball.

I figured we would be seeing pictures of birds. But somehow, I don't think this picture was taken by my dad. Well, at least we know he is in good company.
Can you tell that all the Jorden kids have issues of looking at bird picture after bird picture?! The funny thing is that before I sent my dad off from Billings, I told him to take lots of pictures. He said, yah, but no one but us might actually want to see them more than once. Then I told him, "Well, take pictures with you in them! Don't just take pictures of birds...or atleast take a picture of you with the bird!" So you can imagine that I had a good laugh when the second picture on the blog is of birds! Guess you can't change old habits! And yes, we know this is your cruise and you can take whatever pictures you want!!! And to be honest, it's fun to see whatever pictures you post...birds or not! :) Keep having fun and let us know what we're missing out on! Love you all!
You are right it was Aunt Eileen and Uncle Bill who posted that bird photo. Mom was probably excited to find wild Quakers. We joke about all the airplane photos Dad takes. Don't think you have to worry though - doubt they will see many F-14's on the cruise. We could make a game of this...they can take turns posting and we can guess who took the photo and authored the post. Whoever guesses the most correct wins....framed bird photo...?
